For you and the ones you love.

Space Ritual

Start with the room you want to change.

Most people pick an essential oil by its name and hope it suits the place they put it. We would rather work the other way round — the space first, then how you want it to feel, then the plant that gets you there.

Two questions, about twenty seconds. You end with one oil, the tool to carry it, and how to actually use it.

    The space

Home, office, or somewhere people pass through — then the actual room.

  2. 02

    The feeling

Calm, focused, fresh, energizing, grounded or welcoming. One word is enough.

  3. 03

    The scent

Citrus, floral, herbal, woody, fresh or earthy — whichever you already like.

  4. 04

    The ritual

One oil, the tool that carries it, and when to run it. That is the whole thing.

One home, several different spaces. A bedroom and a desk rarely want the same thing, and you do not need a separate diffuser for each to find that out.

A short list, so there is less to get wrong.

Three pure essential oils, our signature plum kernel oil, and the waterless stone diffuser built to carry them.

Seven years on our own land, before any of this.

Alepu started with soil, not with a shop. We farmed organically and regeneratively for years before there was anything to sell — learning the plants, and the ground they come out of, by growing them ourselves.

The first product came out of that: a face oil pressed from plum kernels. Everything since has had to pass the same test — would we use it, and can we tell you exactly where it came from?

The Expedition

Once we knew what to look for, we went further.

Growing our own taught us what a well-grown plant looks like. So we started travelling for the ones that will not grow here — a road through Sri Lanka, a long conversation with someone who has grown the same plant their whole life.

We film all of it, so you can see where your oil came from before you decide.

Watch the films

Three things you can check yourself.

01

Named origins

Every oil carries the place it came from and the people who grew it. You are never buying a blend from nowhere.

02

Our own farm

The farm came first and it is still ours, worked organically and regeneratively. What we cannot grow there, we travel for.

03

Filmed, not claimed

The expeditions are on film. You can watch where an oil started before you decide to buy it.

Be first to know about new oils.

We send a note when an expedition turns into something you can buy. Nothing else, and not often.
